Welcome to the Wessex Wizards Triathlon Club website. You can use this site to find key information about our club, coaches, membership (£35 annual fee) and activities. Most importantly, you’ll find how to get in touch.

New members are always welcomed, and we pride ourselves on providing a friendly and supportive environment. As part of this, we operate a come and try policy before you commit to the club. 

Partaking in triathlon can be for fun as well as a challenge. Our club can offer friendly support and a gateway to:

• Some of the best cycling routes in Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire, where our mixed ability group cycling and ethos is to ensure that no one gets left behind
• Coached swim and spin sessions at the Oxley centre, Sherborne on a Thursday evening (7-9pm) with the support of our BTF qualified coaches, where we offer training plans, video stroke analysis and plenty of encouragement
• Informal open water sessions at Weymouth (a 45-minute drive from Sherborne) on a Friday evening (6-7pm April to September) and social gatherings at Vobster Quay Open Water Swimming and Dive Centre Nr Frome

Through a joint member scheme or a pay as you go Oxley membership, the Oxley Sports Centre also provides wizards with the opportunity to participate in swim sessions, spin and strength or conditioning classes for all levels.
